England flanker Michael Lipman has been cited over an alleged stamping incident during Saturday's autumn international match against New Zealand.
The Bath skipper played almost an hour in the 32-6 defeat to the All Blacks at Twickenham, which marked his side's third consecutive home defeat to the southern hemisphere heavyweights.
Lipman, 27, will be hauled before a disciplinary panel of the International Rugby Board (IRB) this week after being cited by the authority's South African delegate Andrew Prior.
If found guilty of deliberate foul play by the judicial officer - Professor Lorne Crerar of Scotland the back-row forward could face a lengthy ban.
Lipman's citing follows a match blighted by English indiscipline as team manager Martin Johnson saw four players from his side sin-binned for various offences.
